Great little tent ![User picture]()
I love this tent, I have had it for 7 years and it has been with me for dozens of hikes most off trail camping in random spaces. Its light and set up is really easy even when setting it up again after a rainy night, I never had any condensation or rain get in and it has kept me good and safe in high winds and torrential rain. I love what a small footprint it has allowing ne to set up anywhere but this design makes it awkward to get in and out and the versatile is not actually great to store a pack because it's small so the bag leans on the fly over your head, so I usually keep my pack outside with its rain cover on. Although it's still solid after 7 years (going on 8) and I love it I am now looking to get a new tent with a side versatile and entrance - sadly seems most of the tents here are out of stock for a while now.

Soul 1P Impressions
The tent was very easy to set up and take down. Weight is good. Rainfly zipper got jammed up the very first morning I tried to get out of the tent, and I don't see any way of fixing it. There is absolutely no space inside to store anything. This was my first attempt to outfit for a bikepacking trip, but I am not an inexperienced camper. I will be looking for a 2P tent going forward.

We think you are referring to the zipper getting caught on the zipper flap of fly/outer tent... yes, a person needs to be careful to keep the zipper from getting caught in the zipper flap... we are working on a better solution for future production.
Everyone has different space requirements... the vestibule will hold a 50L pack and a pair of shoes, and there is an inner pocket to hold eye glasses, phone, etc.

日本アルプスなどの高山に行く場合には風に強い自立式のダブルウォールが良い、しかし、普段行く低山や、特に夏は暑いのでインナーはメッシュ、それでも日が差せば暑くてとてもではないがテントの中には居られませんが、サイドを巻き上げることによって暑い空気を逃がしたり、風を入れることも出来る、そんな私の希望を全て満たしてくれたのがBig Sky Soul 1pです。
【お気に入りポイント】
・ペグを打つことで前室を作るタイプではなく、ポールのみで前室も作れる完全自立式。（注意:靴を置ける程度の広さ。雨が降れば室内保管の方がよさそう）
・普通のテントは腰を曲げながらテントを跨がないとテント内に入れないのが億劫ですが、Soul は仰向けで寝ながら月を見られる仕様になっていることによって、立ったまま出入りできて快適。（注意:雨が降ったら室内も濡れるので、傘を差して出入りします。）
・月や星を見上げながら眠れるのが最高。
・使うのがもったいないくらい可愛い付属ペグ。この硬い質感のガイラインは恐らくダイニーマ。
・足元が狭くて入口が広い、ポールがクロスしている、且つ、前室を作るために居室を控えて設計されていることにより、室内で座った時の高さが十分確保されているその無駄のなさ。
・SuprSil-UL™ fabricはFabric informationによると、一般的なテントの片面にポリウレタン（PU）をコーティングしたナイロンまたはポリエステル生地の2倍の強さで、耐久性においてはDCFよりはるかに高いとの事。（注意:両面シリコンコーティングなので結露はしやすいかもしれません。）
こんなに全てを高レベルで満たしているのに良心的なお値段で、もう本当に大好きです。長く大切に使っていきたいと思います。

great product, slow to ship
great product ! just had be very nervous as they didnt ship as quickly as expected and hadnt heard anything for weeks. Eventually processed express but really awful experience as I had a short turn around. It worked out though ! thank you

Great Tent
Recently had to scrap our trip to Catalina Island due to weather and headed to Joshua Tree instead. We still got rain, but only for 1 night. The tent worked great. Bone dry and easy to set up/take down. Packs down really small too. Highly recommend.

Tente ultra légère, ultra compactable et spacieuse. Je fais 1,8 m et m'y sens à l'aise pour dormir et m'asseoir. La tente est autoportante donc facile à installer avec peu d'emprise au sol. I'm 6'1" and typically get long versions of sleep bags/pads that are 196cm in length. I understand this is longer than the recommended length for your 1p Soul tent, but would there still be enough space to accommodate this size?
We rate Big Sky's Soul 1P tent for those up to 6ft 1in so you should be OK... we suggest you set up the tent in your house so it stays new to check out the size, etc. If you find it was not what you expected, you can return it for full refund, including shipping cost.

Can this tent stand on its own without stakes?
Yes, the Soul tent series can stand on its own with stakes... that said, there are two (2) stake/peg loops (one on each side) that help hold the outer away from the inner, and angles the sides creating a more aerodynamic shape so it is easier for the wind to pass over the tent.
