The size and weight can’t be beat, and it’s pretty comfy!
It kept food hot enough that even after 15 to 20 min. the bags were almost to hot to hang on to. Also there was plenty of room to put 2 meals in at once.
Used my new cozy for 10 days in the Sierra Nevada
It worked great!
Light and Roomy, super easy to set up. I especially like the large inner entry and venting window, also the multiple stash pockets and hanging loops
Big Sky insulated pouch for dehydrated food freezer bag cooking cozy
Should be perfect for a good night’s sleep
Excellent backpacking warmer for a good price. Lightweight and easy to store. Works with quart-size freezer bags.
Awesome bladder. I paired it with a pillow case I cut down for a combined weight of 2.5oz, and it's just as (if not more) comfortable than my Exped Mega Pillow (7.6oz). Awesome stuff!
I use the medium and small pouches almost every day. I use the small pouch to keep my sandwich for lunch cold in an uninsulated lunch box. If I bring a leftovers, I tend to use the medium size to accommodate the larger container. On the weekends while out on the trails, I use them for rehydrating my meals.
One of the best purchases I’ve made in a while. It’s lightweight and high quality. I r used it in my day pack to store food for the day and have actually placed an ice pack in it to keep some thi gs cool.
I love this tent, I have had it for 7 years and it has been with me for dozens of hikes most off trail camping in random spaces. Its light and set up is really easy even when setting it up again after a rainy night, I never had any condensation or rain get in and it has kept me good and safe in high winds and torrential rain. I love what a small footprint it has allowing ne to set up anywhere but this design makes it awkward to get in and out and the versatile is not actually great to store a pack because it's small so the bag leans on the fly over your head, so I usually keep my pack outside with its rain cover on. Although it's still solid after 7 years (going on 8) and I love it I am now looking to get a new tent with a side versatile and entrance - sadly seems most of the tents here are out of stock for a while now.
Decreases absorption time, forget the bowl or tucking pouches in your coat. Last hot pour ? Puts you eating with the troupe. I haven’t really bothered washing it.
We finally got to give the insulated pouch a go on our most recent bike camping trip! It was excellent – our dehydrated meals stayed hotter for longer, and that ensured great rehydration results compared to not using the insulated pouch. Bonus points for the nice elastic straps for easy packing. Next thing we want to try is keeping some drinks cold! We're happy.
I've had the tent for a few years now. And this is the second time I've used it for a longer vacation. Although the climate (and therefore the ground) was very damp and it rained a lot, there was almost no condensation in the tent. I had to pack up the tent wet in the morning and put it up again wet in the evening. However, the inner tent always stayed dry! I have never experienced this with any other tent. And I have already spent the night in several tents. Thanks to the external poles and the fact that the outer and inner tents can be pitched at the same time, pitching in the rain was no problem. I am also very satisfied with the wind stability once it has been properly tensioned. The small footprint required to pitch the tent is also very positive. Just like the option of leaving the cross pole at home to save some more weight. For me, this tent is clearly the number one choice and my safe haven for any unpredictable weather conditions.
Thank you for this great product!
Very tough, and easy to insert. Highly recommended.
