Awesome bike packing tent.

I took this tent on a ride from LA to NYC and it exceeded expectations. It was lightweigt and compact, so it was easy to pack. The set up is quick and easy. One of the features that sets this apart from most other double wall tents is that you can set it up all at once instead of having to first set up the mesh part and then the rain fly on top. the 1.5 was more that enough space for me and my gear inside the tent and the handy pockets were a great place to put things I needed during the night. I chose the shorter bike packing version of the poles which made it more convenient to pack.

Decent 3 season tent!

Used this a few times now as well as the Chinook 2p.
I used the Chinook 2p for winter camping (although I have both inners) and the revolution for summer (mesh inner)
I reviewed them both on my YouTube channel 'Grizzly Gaz' if you want a detailed look and to know my thoughts on them?
(I bought both these tents so no biases)

Fit the bill

Arrived wednesday, pitch it for test right out of the box, then departure thursday for a 3 days trip in Belgium. I bought the tent for my trekking trips, but curiously its very first use has been for a classic motorcycle trip, camping included.
The Revolution 1.5P was everything I expected, and more : compact, light, easy to pitch, roomy enough to store all my motorcycle gear (so, with "only" my trek gear it'll be a dream!), even stands a huge storm during saturday night like a champ !
The size is just about perfect for 1 person + gear, no condensation at all, pitching with the inner connected at the fly is a bliss and the packed size (I've got the 30 cm bikepacking version) is what I was looking for since years.
And on top of that, great customer service.

Early days

I have not tested it outdoors yet, but I have pitched it 2 times, and it is very easy and quick to raise.
I appreciate that the fabric is stretched out so it not so "floppy" in wind. My last tent was very noisy with regards to that.
It is very roomy and its really great that it has pockets in every corner and lot of "hooks" in the roof. That makes it very practical to use.
The only negative I have seen is that the hooks for the inner "door" is positioned far to high. They should have been more or less 12 cm lower down (where the upper part of the inner pocket is) to be able to catch all of the mesh, so that its not hanging down, and in the way)
Otherwise all positive for now, seems to be good quality work!

Thank you for your review and suggestions for improvements.

A great and spacious tent.

I bought this to replace or compliment my smaller Hilleberg Enan when I want a freestanding option and more space and I have now used it for 5 nights at my latest hike in the northern parts of Sweden where it coped with the wind and rain like a champ.

We had rain every night and also a bit stronger gusts of wind, no problem what so ever for the Revolution 1,5p.

The space inside, for that small footprint. is also very good and for me who is 180 cm there is no problem with the little bit shorter inner.

Regarding condensation... NO condensation what so ever so a great job there Big Sky and for a full review and first look before my trip...follow the links below to my YouTube page.
